What are you going to do:

We are Selective Personnel, an elite hospitality recruitment agency founded in 2011 with one aim; to provide the perfect members of staff for each of our clients' events. That's why we're called Selective Personnel – because we don't just recruit anybody - instead we carefully handpick and interview every candidate to ensure that we provide each of our clients with the best people for the job.

We have a very strong and a very fun team working at various event venues throughout Glasgow and Edinburgh, but business demands require that we increase our staff numbers.

We are looking to employ various new members for our team which will range from basic plate waiting, to bar work, to high end executive corporate events. Although experience is preferred we have a variety of positions available to please state any relevant experience in any correspondence with us.

The hours are casual and range week to week, which is incredibly handy when it comes to the exam period. Currently most of the staff are students and as well as working hard whilst on shift there is a good relaxed atmosphere within the company.

The ideal candidates will
have:

  • Experience of working in a similar environment
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Good people skills and the ability to work as
    part of a team
  • Good customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • High standards and be quality driven
