HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Reading
Pay Rate:£17.00 £18.00 per hour
Job Type: Ongoing Temporary Work

Workchain is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy removals company in the Reading area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy physical work and are looking for ongoing, full-time employment.

The Role

• Completing commercial removals across the local and surrounding areas.

• Working as part of a two-person team alongside a driver's mate.

• Safely loading, transporting, and unloading furniture and household or office items.

• Providing excellent customer service throughout each removal.

• Ensuring goods are handled with care and delivered safely.

• Completing vehicle checks and adhering to all transport regulations.

Working Hours

• 1012 hour shifts

• Ongoing, full-time work

• Various start times depending on the day's schedule

Pay & Benefits

• £17.00 £18.00 per hour

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

• Valid Driver CPC qualification.

• Digital Tachograph card.

• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the day.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
