HR Controls & Compliance Analyst - Umbrella Rate


We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Controls & Compliance Analyst to support the delivery of a high-profile remediation programme focused on strengthening HR processes, controls and governance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in project coordination, compliance, risk, audit, governance or controls environments who is looking to develop their career in a structured and highly visible programme. You will work closely with stakeholders across HR, Risk, Compliance and project teams to help ensure remediation activities are delivered effectively and in line with audit requirements.

The role is ideally suited to a candidate who enjoys organisation, tracking actions, analysing information and working with a wide range of stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of remediation actions across a range of HR-related controls and processes
  • Maintain project plans, trackers and action logs to ensure activities remain on schedule
  • Monitor progress, identify delays or gaps and escalate risks where appropriate
  • Assist in translating control and compliance requirements into practical process improvements
  • Prepare status reports, updates and management information for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with business teams to gather information, documentation and evidence
  • Ensure remediation documentation is accurate, complete and audit-ready
  • Support governance activities, including meetings, actions and progress reviews
  • Help drive consistency across multiple workstreams and project activities
  • Contribute ideas to improve reporting, tracking and overall programme effectiveness


Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting projects, business change initiatives, remediation programmes or compliance activities
  • Understanding of risk, controls, governance, audit or regulatory requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple actions simultaneously
  • Experience producing reports, status updates and management information
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams and levels
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting tools


Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to compliance, audit, risk management or internal controls
  • Experience working within a regulated environment
  • Awareness of HR processes, policies or employee lifecycle activities
  • Knowledge of SOX, internal controls or remediation programmes
