Procurement Manager/Director Software & Technology Procurement


Location: Fully Remote with some hybrid.

Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract

Rate: Up to £750 per day INSIDE IR35

Start: Immediate


Our Capital Markets practice is supporting a leading global investment bank on a high-profile strategic procurement programme and is looking to engage an experienced Procurement Director/Senior Procurement Manager with deep expertise in Software and Technology procurement.


This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven procurement professional to lead complex negotiations with some of the world's largest SaaS and technology vendors, helping the bank secure favourable commercial outcomes across new and existing global agreements.

The Role

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Technology, Legal and Vendor Management to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and lead high-value commercial negotiations.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead commercial negotiations with leading global software and SaaS vendors.
  • Negotiate complex global licensing, subscription and enterprise agreements.
  • Deliver measurable commercial savings and improved contractual outcomes.
  • Partner with Technology, Legal and business stakeholders throughout the procurement life cycle.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and support long-term vendor strategies.
  • Identify commercial risks and ensure contracts align with internal governance and compliance requirements.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives and contribute to best practice across the function.


Requirements

We're looking for professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience within Technology or Software Procurement.
  • Proven track record negotiating enterprise agreements with major SaaS and technology vendors (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, Google, IBM or similar).
  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments, ideally Financial Services or Investment Banking.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver commercial value on strategic procurement programmes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
