Eames Consulting are currently supporting a leading Wealth Manager looking to appoint an Operational Risk & Regulatory Change Analyst on an initial 12 month FTC.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, assessment and management of existing and emerging operational risks across Partner Finance, including BSP and lending activities.
- Collaborate with Risk and Control Owners to assess the design and effectiveness of key controls, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and drive continuous improvements in the control environment.
- Develop and execute the annual control testing plan, providing stakeholders with clear, meaningful insight and assurance on control performance and effectiveness.
- Oversee the management of risk and control actions within Riskonnect, ensuring clear ownership, timely completion and effective mitigation of identified risks.
- Lead and coordinate periodic Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), ensuring robust, accurate and consistent risk attestation across the division.
- Provide subject matter expertise to group-wide risk and control initiatives, supporting the implementation of new regulatory requirements and the continued enhancement of the overall risk management framework.
- Deliver targeted assurance over key controls and processes across Partner Finance and the wider business, identifying areas for improvement and strengthening the control environment.
- Produce insightful and actionable reporting on risk and control performance for divisional governance forums, enabling effective oversight and supporting informed senior-level decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experienced operational risk professional with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and a proactive, commercially focused approach.
- Confident operating within complex financial services environments and interpreting evolving regulatory expectations.
- Skilled at translating regulatory requirements into practical, effective and sustainable controls.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and providing clear, constructive challenge where appropriate.
- Able to identify, assess and effectively manage both existing and emerging operational risks.
- Strong commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes and maintaining high standards of regulatory integrity.
