Role: Maintenance Programme Controller

 

Location: Manchester Hangar

Job Purpose: Control and maintain Aircraft Maintenance Programs for all Thomas Cook Group Airlines aircraft and 3rd party Operators as required

  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Produce and maintain AMP’s for all supported aircraft based on manufacturers approved documentation – ie MRBR, MPD, AD, SB, SIL etc.
  • Carry out AMP revisions based on above documentation within agreed SCAMT timescales.
  • Liaise directly with Group Airline Segment CAMOs and regulatory authorities as required with regard to all AMP related issues, primarily, but not restricted to when programs are submitted for approval.
  • Act as focal point for all AMP related issues for any other external customers – ie aircraft manufacturers and all internal customers.
  • Attend relevant meetings/steering groups etc as required related to AMP control and maintenance – ie ISC meetings.
  • Provide first level of accuracy audit when AMP revisions are carried out using manufacturer’s documentation, prior to formal submission to relevant CAMOs
  • Management and control of all AMP related requirements within AMOS in relation to the transfer of aircraft between AOCs
  • Conduct internal annual AMP review meetings for all controlled AMP’s.
  • To undertake any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as and when required, as defined by the Planning & Records Manager and / or Senior Maintenance Program Controller

 

Key Performance Indicators

 

  • Production of AMP B amendments within contractual timescales
  • Aircraft transfers in AMOS in accordance with Aircraft Transfer project timeline

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

  • Extensive knowledge and proven ability to work in AMOS (V10 +)
  • Aircraft engineering or Records background and basic understanding of regulatory requirements needed for control  of Operator AMP.
  • Ability to produce consistent, high quality output, whilst working in a fast moving and constantly changing environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide both written and verbal information to all levels of staff within the company and to external customers when required.
  • Computer literacy, and knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Punctual in attendance and time-keeping with a flexible attitude where circumstances dictate.
  • Proven ability to represent the department and company with external customers at all levels whenever necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to an office area with high activity and changing demands
  • Ability to prioritise workload, and react to sudden changes.

     

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations

 

  • Previous experience in  Engineering environment
