Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a part-time team member to join us for a 12-month fixed-term contract, working three days per week. The role follows a hybrid working arrangement, combining time on campus with home working. Typically, this will involve two days on campus one week and one day on campus the following week, alternating on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial triage of student referrals and direct students to the most appropriate support services.
• Assess and identify students' ongoing wellbeing and support needs.
• Provide first-line support and guidance through calls, emails, workflows, and enquiries.
• Respond to initial queries relating to disability, wellbeing and respect, culture and behaviours support services.
• Maintain accurate records and manage administrative processes associated with student support, utilising CRM.

About the Department

Student Support, within the Directorate of Student and Academic Support, provides specialist advice and guidance to help students succeed throughout their university journey. The Triage and Operations Team is the first point of contact for many students, ensuring they are connected to the most appropriate support services through effective triage and early intervention. Support is delivered across a range of channels, including face-to-face appointments, telephone, email, and MS Teams.
