Location: Pirbright
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
Contract: 12 months
We’re supporting a leading UK life sciences manufacturer with the appointment of an experienced Import & Export Coordinator.
You’ll act as the site specialist for import, export and customs compliance, supporting routine shipments alongside complex and time-critical movements.
Key responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders on customs and international trade compliance
- Maintain import/export SOPs and working instructions
- Coordinate with customs brokers and conduct post-entry checks
- Support audits, AEO requirements and compliance training
- Assist with regulated and hazardous shipments
- Work across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and procurement teams
What we’re looking for
- Formal import/export or customs training
- Broad, hands-on international trade experience
- Knowledge of customs classification, licensing, sanctions and embargoes
- Experience within a regulated environment
- Familiarity with GDP, GxP, GMP or Dangerous Goods requirements
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Some UK and international travel may be required, up to approximately 10 days per year.
