Assistant Manager – Fast-Growing Quick Service Restaurant | Newcastle

Salary: Up to £34,000 + Bonus + Excellent Career Progression

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing quick service restaurant business looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join one of its busy Newcastle locations. As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, helping to deliver operational excellence, inspire and develop the team, and drive commercial performance. The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will:

• Support the General Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant
• Lead shifts to ensure exceptional customer service, food quality, and brand standards
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve their full potential
• Drive sales while managing labour, productivity, and controllable costs
• Maintain high standards of food safety, health & safety, and compliance
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and administrative tasks
• Foster a positive, energetic culture that delivers outstanding guest experiences

About You

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or Restaurant Manager from a high-volume QSR, fast casual, or branded hospitality background.

You'll have experience in:

• Leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
• Delivering exceptional customer service and operational standards
• Supporting recruitment, training, and team development
• Driving sales and improving operational performance
• Managing labour and controlling costs
• Maintaining excellent food safety and compliance standards
• Leading from the front with a positive, hands-on approach
