Artisan People Group is looking for a Visitor Experience Assistant

Job description

Artisan People is proud to recruit staff with outstanding customer service skills for a ten month project which is going to be a world class blockbuster visitor experience.

We’re looking for someone outgoing, bubbly and genuinely energised by people, someone who can effectively manage large queues, turn a queue into a good mood and a question into a highlight of someone’s day.

This isn’t a quiet, behind-the-glass role. It’s fast, physical and constantly on the move, and it rewards people who thrive on pace rather than routine.

You’ll be brilliant in this role if you are:

  • Outgoing and enthusiastic, with the warmth to deliver exceptional customer service in every single interaction
  • Physically fit and ready for a role that means being on your feet for long stretches, including frequent stairs
  • A strong communicator with excellent spoken English, comfortable talking to visitors from every corner of the globe
  • Flexible on hours and able to travel to the venue, with some shifts starting early and others finishing late
  • Confident managing large queues and visitor flow proactively, with cheerfulness and good humour even at the busiest moments
  • Punctual, every time
  • Reliable, every shift
  • Happy to wear a radio earpiece for the full duration of your shift

The role

  • Welcome visitors from across the globe and help them find their way
  • Proactively engage to make sure every visitor gets the most from their trip
  • Manage queuing and visitor flow with a calm, upbeat approach
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, including emergency evacuation support
  • Resolve visitor issues on the spot, or escalate to the Duty Manager
  • Work closely with Learning, Security and Café teams
  • Support opening and closing procedures
