The role

An experienced HGV Class 1 Driver is required for permanent night work based in Pershore. You will be responsible for completing planned delivery and trunking routes safely, efficiently and professionally, while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle care.

Key responsibilities

Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on scheduled night routes

Completing retail store deliveries

Carrying out trunking work as required

Handling refrigerated or temperature-controlled freight

Completing handballing duties where needed

Conducting appropriate vehicle checks

Ensuring deliveries and relevant paperwork are completed accurately

Working safely and in line with transport procedures

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement

Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience

Experience of fridge work

Experience with retail store deliveries and trunking

Comfortable undertaking handballing duties

Reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach

Good time management and communication skills

Ability to work independently during night shifts
