We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team full-time on-site in Oxford, St Clement. You will be at the heart of our kitchen, responsible for crafting a diverse range of sushi and Japanese dishes that look as good as they taste.

What you’ll be doing:

• Artistry & Preparation: Crafting high-quality sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes with precision and flair.
• Quality Control: Selecting and handling the freshest seafood and ingredients daily.
• Kitchen Excellence: Maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety standards.
• Efficiency: Managing prep lists, inventory, and kitchen organisation to ensure a smooth service.
• Innovation: Contributing to menu ideas and creative plating to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  

What we are looking for:

• The Craft: Proven experience in Japanese cuisine, with a deep understanding of rice preparation, fish butchery, and knife skills.
• The Eye: A natural talent for beautiful plating and attention to detail, even during a busy Friday night rush.
• The Commitment: Reliability and flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
