Epic London is looking for a Development Intern for 6 months
Epic is seeking an experienced, self-driven, “entrepreneurial-minded” individual to support fundraising efforts in London. In collaboration with the Development Team for the UK, the intern will be involved in all aspects of daily fundraising activities, including researching and analyzing potential leads entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, and corporations. This position will be based at Epic’s office in central London. Epic will provide a friendly working environment as well as strong opportunities for professional growth and network building. What are you going to do:
- Research and identify potential donors including HNWI, corporations, foundations, private banks and family offices.
- Maintain & track data and partnership opportunities with private banks, wealth management firms, donor advised funds, multi-family offices, corporate foundations and other philanthropy groups to establish a line of communication to promote Epic
- Track fundraising proposals and submission deadlines with potential institutional funders
- Maintain donor stewardship activities in Salesforce
- Research and identify event opportunities with philanthropy forums and thinktanks
- Create networking opportunities within entrepreneur sector through events, meetings, and market research
- Identify partnership opportunities to promote social impact within academic sector and institutions - e.g. service learning projects, speaking opportunities etc.

- At least finished university degree
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
- International experience with high cultural competency
- Interest in social impact and philanthropy sector
- Demonstrated ability to navigate in large organisations and identify decision makers
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Positive personality with ability to generate creative solutions and take initiative
- Google Drive, Excel
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
- Speaking French is a plus
