Business Analyst – Strategy & Transformation

Salary: Up to £57,500 + benefits

Location: West Midlands / Hybrid (Very flexible)

Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join an established energy company in the West Midlands, supporting a broad portfolio of strategic transformation and business change initiatives.

This is a role that goes beyond traditional requirements gathering. You'll help translate business strategy into meaningful change, ensuring projects and programmes across the change portfolio remain aligned with wider strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

• Support strategic transformation initiatives across the change portfolio
• Help develop and evolve Target Operating Models (TOMs) and future-state capabilities
• Analyse current-state processes, identify gaps and design future-state ways of working
• Assess the impact of change across people, process, technology and data
• Ensure projects and programmes remain aligned with strategic objectives
• Develop process maps, business models, capability maps and other BA artefacts
• Work closely with Solution Architects and delivery teams to translate strategy into practical solutions
• Identify dependencies, risks and impacts across the wider change portfolio

You'll ideally have:

• Strong Business Analysis experience within complex transformation environments
• Experience with strategic change, operating model design or transformation
• Understanding of Target Operating Models and future-state design
• Experience with gap analysis, impact assessments and options appraisal

Energy/utilities experience would be highly desirable, although candidates from other regulated, complex or data-intensive environments will also be considered.
