Job description
Team Executive Assistant
West End, London | £50,000–£60,000 | Temp-to-Perm | 4 Days in the Office | 8am–5:00pm
We’re partnering with a highly regarded global investment firm to appoint a Team Executive Assistant to join its London office. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Team Assistant, PA or developing Executive Assistant who already has a strong foundation in business support and is now looking to take the next step in their career within a high-performing financial services environment.
Supporting a senior leadership group including the Head of Technology, Chief Operating Officer and HR Director, you’ll gain broad exposure across the business whilst working alongside an experienced and collaborative Executive Assistant team. You’ll also work closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing cover and additional support when required. This is a role offering genuine senior-level exposure from the outset, alongside the opportunity to continue developing your Executive Assistant skillset within an established and supportive team.
The pace is fast, the standards are high and they’re looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of excellent executive support, but is ambitious to take on greater responsibility and build a long-term career as an Executive Assistant.
The Role
- Provide day-to-day Executive Assistant support to a group of senior leaders, including the Head of Technology, COO and HR Director.
- Manage busy and changing diaries, coordinate meetings and confidently navigate competing priorities.
- Arrange UK and international travel, including flights, accommodation, transfers and detailed itineraries.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
- Work closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing holiday cover and additional support when required.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations and correspondence.
- Process expenses accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Executive Assistant team, providing support and cover when needed.
- Take ownership of ad hoc requests and projects.
- Anticipate requirements, resolve issues and proactively ensure executives are supported effectively.
About You
You’ll ideally have a few years’ experience within a Team Assistant, PA, Junior EA or similar business support role and will be ready to take on broader responsibilities and greater senior-level exposure.
You don’t necessarily need to be a fully established Executive Assistant already, but you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of professional business support, including diary management, meeting coordination and working with senior stakeholders.
You’ll be:
- Bright, organised and exceptionally detail-focused.
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be asked.
- Experienced in managing busy diaries, meetings and changing priorities.
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and people at all levels.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and remain composed when things change.
- Naturally collaborative and keen to continue learning from experienced EAs.
- Professional, polished and discreet.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
- Ambitious and genuinely interested in developing a long-term career as an Executive Assistant.
Previous experience within financial services, investment management, professional services or another fast-paced corporate environment would be advantageous.
What’s on Offer
- £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience.
- Initial temporary to permanent.
- Four days per week in the West End office.
- Working hours of 8am–5:00pm.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership across the business.
- The opportunity to work alongside an established and highly experienced Executive Assistant team.
- CEO-level exposure through holiday cover and additional support.
- Increasing responsibility and scope as your experience develops.
- A genuine opportunity to build a long-term Executive Assistant career within a leading global investment environment.
If you already have a strong foundation and are looking for an opportunity to step up, gain greater senior-level exposure and continue developing as an Executive Assistant, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and supportive environment.
