Prestigious West end-based Asset Manager seek a Trade Support/Investment Operations Analyst

Hybrid Working

Permanent

£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Industry Experience: Trade Support from Hedge Fund or Asset Management

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

It is an essential requirement that you have 2-3 years previous investment operations experience at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund working in Trade Support
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics
Experience in Equity, Unit Trusts, ETF’s, FX Forwards, Futures, Sovereign Bonds.
General Operations Trade support experience including Trade Matching, Settlements, Custody Positioning and Cash reconciliations, corporate actions, collateral management and Proxy Voting
Attention to detail and accuracy
Numerate, methodical
Good decision-making/problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
Full UK working rights

PREFERED/NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE

Experience in OTC Derivatives (Futures, IRS, Swaptions, Bond Options, FX Options)
Knowledge of Broadridge portfolio management system
Custody market openings, tax reclaims, EMIR Reporting, NAV reconciliations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full trade support/ownership for allocated Funds
Take ownership for trade lifecycles and resolving issues with trade settlement, matching, corporate actions.
Reconciliation of custodian cash and positions.
Collateral Management
Responsible for approving NAVs
FX management and payments
Address any ad- hoc enquires from Front Office/ Custodians/Administrators.
Contributing improvements to the control environment
Adhoc projects as requested but Operations Manager and Head of Operations
