We’ve got a great role for a Packaging Operative to join our Chippindale Foods manufacturing site in Knaresborough. Reporting to the Production Operations Manager, you will determine packaging requirements to deliver the production plan and service at site.
This is a permanent role working 5 days over 7. Mon-Fri, and will require a degree of flexibility regarding start/finish times and may require working Saturdays.
As a Packaging Operative you will take responsibility for managing suppliers ensuring full accuracy of orders to be delivered into the site. You will create and distribute relevant reporting on stock levels and supplier performance and will communicate with retail buyers to manage stock ensuring the site is aligned to the manufacturing business plan.

You will have experience of working in a similar role within a packaging/manufacturing team and be able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams and key stakeholders You will be responsible for data input and will drive actions that ensure that consistency of service to our customers, along with the ability to look for ways to improve customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written.

The family run business moved to a purpose built state of the art building with a new egg grading machine in Flaxby in 2013.
