Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 base

Additional Package: Up to £15,000 in Bonus and Benefits

The Opportunity

I’m currently working with a leading global Investment Management firm that is looking to hire a Regulatory Change Analyst into its growing European business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience across regulatory change, business change or transformation within Financial Services who wants to take greater ownership of regulatory initiatives from initial impact assessment through to implementation.

The role will focus on analysing upcoming European regulatory change, understanding its impact across the organisation and working with stakeholders to ensure the required business changes are effectively delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse European regulation and assess the potential impact across the business.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions to identify where changes are required to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into clear business requirements and implementation activities.
  • Produce detailed documentation and executive-level communications outlining regulatory impacts and required actions.
  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders to design practical implementation solutions.
  • Develop and manage project plans alongside programme and project management teams.
  • Define stakeholder responsibilities and ensure actions, risks and dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Coordinate and manage activities through the regulatory change lifecycle.
  • Support wider risk management, governance and senior/board-level reporting requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and independently drive workstreams forward.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience within a similar regulatory change, business change or transformation environment.
  • Experience working within Financial Services, ideally within Investment Management, Asset Management or a closely related environment.
  • Good understanding of regulatory change and the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into business impacts.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across different business functions and levels of seniority.
  • Experience gathering requirements, producing documentation and supporting the delivery of change initiatives.
  • Strong project delivery and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable leading workshops and influencing stakeholders.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, identify interdependencies and understand both the detail and wider business impact.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues simply.
  • Self-starter who can independently take ownership of workstreams and drive them forward.
