We are seekinga caring, organised and highly proactive Student Services Officer tojoin our dedicated team. This is a rewarding and varied role at the heart ofschool life, providing vital support to learners, families and colleagues toensure every young person is safe, supported and ready to succeed.

The successful candidatewill oversee the day-to-day operation of our Student Services provision, actingas a key point of contact for learners who require support throughout theschool day. You will manage resources and provision effectively, monitor andrespond to first aid needs, maintain accurate records of incidents andconcerns, and ensure follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.

Working closely with thepastoral, safeguarding and administration teams, you will play an importantrole in coordinating support for learners and families, helping to removebarriers to attendance, engagement and achievement.

About You

We are seeking to appoint an empathetic, organised and highlyeffective Student Services Officer who is passionate about supportingyoung people and helping to remove barriers to learning. This varied andrewarding role combines responsibility for leading first aid provision acrossthe academy with a broad student services and administrative function, ensuringthat learners and families receive timely, professional and compassionatesupport.

The successful candidate will be calm, patientand able to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating our school values ofcompassion, integrity, altruism and resilience in their dailyinteractions with learners, families and colleagues.

You will possess excellent organisational,communication and administrative skills and will take lead responsibility forthe coordination and management of first aid provision within the academy. Arecognised First Aid qualification, or a willingness to undertake training, isessential.

As a key member of our Student Services team,you will support learners with a wide range of day-to-day needs, includingwellbeing concerns, medical requirements, lost property, and general enquiries.You will work closely with pastoral and administrative colleagues to ensurethat learners receive appropriate support and that parents and carers are keptinformed when necessary.

The role also includes maintaining accuraterecords of first aid incidents, learner welfare concerns and relateddocumentation. You will coordinate and monitor individual healthcare plans andrisk assessments for learners with medical or mobility needs, ensuring thatappropriate support and reasonable adjustments are in place. In addition, youwill provide high-quality administrative support, contributing to the efficientrunning of student services and supporting wider academy systems and processesas required.

This position offers an excellent opportunityfor someone who enjoys working directly with young people whilst also thrivingin a busy administrative environment where attention to detail, professionalismand strong interpersonal skills are essential.
