What are you going to do:
In addition to assisting the IT team in maintaining and updating existing systems, you will provide first and second line support, logging all requests received and ensuring resolution in the most efficient and effective way possible. The successful candidate will require an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. There is also a range of administration duties within this role and dealing with general support requests including non-IT requests.
Job Role Duties
- Receiving, logging and managing support requests from global users via multiple channels
- Maintenance, installations and relocations of PC's, printers and other IT related equipment
- Administration of user accounts and profiles
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service level agreements (SLA's)
- Take ownership of user problems, follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner
- Escalate issues either internally or with third parties when required
- Setting up new hardware for staff, such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones
- Setting up meeting rooms for audio/video conferences where required
- Monitor and manage consumable supplies
- Create and maintain support documentation/systems to assist staff and allow self-service where possible
- Working within and contributing to enhancement of existing internal support or management systems e.g. Change management
