Cosmology/Physics student required to assist research project

Physics, Astronomy, Cosmology, Computing, MUST have ability with Sloan Data Sky Survey (SDSS) (or evidence of ability to learn to use SDSS quickly)

What are you going to do

  • Novel research project, with chance to contribute intellectually
  • Assemble data set for defined redshift groups in defined sky sectors
  • Involves data transformation to give redshift numbers per unit area sky
  • Further details upon application and suitability

What we ask:

  • At least finished university degree
  • No driving license required
  • Ability to work routinely under own steam
  • Short CV from undergraduate inwards with 150 word (max) paragraph on your suitability
