Hi, I am a leading national lawyer. I am looking for a writer and researcher to assist me with my podcast and YouTube channel, 'Reach Abroad', which is all about helping overseas entrepreneurs set up their businesses in the UK and the legal issues arising. This is a voluntary work experience position, on a part-time and flexible basis, which will give you experience and exposure to legal research and writing, and the opportunity to help the 12,000 subscribers to my channel get the best and most up to date information and legal insight to navigate the ever-changing and complex UK immigration framework ahead of Brexit. This would be a great experience if you are starting a career in the law.
I have worked for over 10 years in the legal profession as a pupil, barrister, in solicitors roles and now as a Partner and Head of a busy Business Immigration department in a leading national law firm. I have supported several students in the progression of their legal careers and introduced them to my wide network of contacts.
I think this role will give you a unique opportunity to gain exposure, insight and experience to further your legal career. I started my own journey in the law doing research and writing for a lawyer and it really helped me pave a way forward.
