4D Care are recruiting Care staff for their 2 homes. We are a small Independent provider who’s focus is on achieving individual and measurable goals for the young people (10 - 17) with whom we work. This means we are able to meet changing identified needs quickly and without delay, which we feel is best practice.

If you have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of teenagers in care and wish to support them to reach their potential educationally, socially, physically and emotionally then we would like to hear from you. Prior experience is not required. Those who do have experience could attract a salary at the higher end of the pay scale. Various patterns of Work available. Your salary includes payment of a standard 35 sleep ins at the home per year (pro rata).
Due to Ofsted regulations candidates need to be at least 21 years of age on appointment to a position with us. The key areas of the job role involve supporting children and teenagers to develop and meet identified positive outcomes, day to day care of children in the group, cooking, cleaning, going on recreational activities and holidays with them, report writing, acting as an advocate in professional meetings, mentoring, supporting with educational needs, encouraging their participation in clubs and hobbies in the community.

You will start a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare following a successful probation period of 6 months of work with us if you do not already have one. It is necessary to have satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check and references completed before commencing employment with us for this job role.
