We have a great opportunity for 2 x Finance Operations Advisors to work in our head office in West Yorkshire.
In this role you will support our suppliers in the art of onboarding. You'll be delivering robust processes to manage and control our delivery whilst ensuring our GSCOP controls are met. You'll be delivering reporting, ensuring that your thinking is customer first in all aspects of your role, improving processes and outputs through simplifying tasks.
There will be a proportion of the role, approximately 60%, that will require a customer leading attitude to advise on compliance matters through engagement. Maintain your safe and legal training as set out in ‘My Learning’ and follow any additional Competition Law guidelines that may be shared.
Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems
Knowledge of financial payment systems is desirable but not essential
Skills
An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment
Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills
Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills
Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way
Flexible and proactive approach
High attention to detail
Comfortable with conversing at all levels
Experience
Working knowledge of document control systems and databases such as Oracle
Extensive Experience of stakeholder management
Experience of having to prioritise to meet deadlines
Previous experience of supporting the delivery of finance plans
Experience of managing a growing team
Experience of working with an offshore operation would be advantageous but not essential
