IT Network Engineer in Bradford

We’re speeding up our systems and simplifying our processes to serve our customers and colleagues better, and we're looking for a Network Products and Services Product Specialist to join us on the Infrastructure and Operations Team with Technology..

You'll be responsible for all matters relating to the development and governance of Voice and Data (LAN, WAN, WiFi) Networks Products and Services underpinning delivery of services across the Morrisons Corporate, Manufacturing, Logistics and Retail estate.

You'll be accountable for Network Products and Services Product including:

• Development and maintenance of the Catalogue for Network Products and Services required to deliver services for Morrisons

• Ensuring all Network Products have an agreed support model including the approach for end of life where appropriate

• Negotiation & agreement of the product selection, introduction and retirement approach for all Network Products

• When required, attend the Architecture Board / Design Authority meetings to ensure adherence to intended use for Network products

To be a Network Products and Services Product Specialist here at Morrisons, you'll need skills and experience like this;

• You will have 5+ years’ experience delivering network infrastructure, ideally with some product management exposure

• Experience working within a  complex service, multi vendor environment

• Proven ability to build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships

• A detailed technical knowledge of WAN, LAN, WiFi, Voice, VPN’s, Firewalls, etc. will be required

• Proven Service Operation of Networks  in an ITIL framework

• Excellent knowledge of the technology vendors and their offerings

• Experience of Integration through ITIL Service Design

• Relationship Management - Stakeholder and Vendor

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

• ITIL v3 Certified
