Are you looking for work this summer? Action it theatre company are looking for fun, outgoing, reliable facilitators to help run their 2019 summer schools in Tuscany. Drama, Art, Sport and English teachers required to teach 6-13yr old Italian students for a week-long course. The course is designed to teach English through fun creative sessions, concluding with a performance in English to friends and family at the end of the week.
You will be required to teach a class of approx 15-18 students aged between 6-13yrs. The course is structured into various lessons which each class will rotate around during the day. This means that each class of will get an hour per subject a day. We need teachers who are quick thinkers and can improvise and adapt their sessions in a fun and creative way to suit the children’s ability.
Drama teachers are resposnible for creating a final show with the students.
Art teachers are responisble for making things such as scenery, props, and masks with the students.
Sports teachers are required to develop team building skills, develop sporting ability and increase terminology.
English teachers will work on helping to understand the script, line learning, pronunciation, and work through a fun exercise book.
It is not a requirement for every position, but we are also interested in hearing from facilitators who can also cover multiple subjects in either English, drama, sport or art. Please specify if you have any experience in these subjects.
Training will be given prior to starting the position.

Salary: - National Minimum Wage / Hours are: - 08:30 – 16:00 Monday – Friday & 09:00 – 12:00 Saturday.
Accommodation is provided with a wonderful host family who will provide you with 3 meals per day (packed lunch for work)
Flights are paid in full (economy airline) and you will be required to fly out on the 31stAugust.
You must hold or be willing to obtain a DBS check in time for the position.
