Here at Barclays, we have a brand new opportunity available for a Technical Lead within our Fixed Income Trading Technology Team. This truly is a rare and exciting opportunity for a hands-on developer and/or Technical project leader to run a startup operation in a front-office facing trading function. Combined with this, you will be directly responsible for overseeing the development of the Rates e-trading platform and will have regional accountability across our EMEA trading desks.
• Knowledge on JQuery, Angular JS, FIX, Python, KDb, JavaScript.
• Skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery and System integration.
• A proactive attitude towards problem solving and willingness to be a hands-on technologist.
• Ease in working with matrixed and global environments.
• Strong communication skills and ease in articulating status to senior tech and business stakeholders.
This role will be based in our Aurora house Glasgow office; a stones throw away from Glasgow Central Train Station and the heart of Glasgow.
