Bank Band 5 Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses

Owing to unprecedented events regarding COVID-19 we are working tirelessly to recruit quickly for Band 5 Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses to join the BANK at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

The Bank covers a large geographical area across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Applicants are invited to apply to join the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust as Bank Staff Nurses which entails working on an ‘as and when required’ basis, on one of our in-patient units. We require nurses with a variety of registrations including: Adult Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.

Posts are Trust wide, which includes Hull, Willerby, Beverley, Hornsea, Goole, Bridlington, and Driffield areas therefore access to an appropriate means of transport is advantageous. Service areas requiring cover will include Community Mental Health Services, Adult Mental Health, Older Adult Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Learning Disability Services and Forensic Services.

Applicants will have a relevant up to date Nursing registration and preceptorship and be expected to display a high standard of communication, and the ability to develop relationships with patients.

The successful candidates will be professionals who want to work flexibly, on an as and when required basis; able to work innovatively and confidently and be committed to the planning and delivery of quality mental health care.

The Trust is a training environment and the successful candidates will benefit from up-to-date training and supervision.

We will rely on your co-operation as a candidate to enable us to process Pre employment checks quickly if you are successful. We intend to carry out telephone interviews and you can expect this to take place within 2 days of your application.
