The team is responsible for the daily processing of Interest Rate Swaps, Basis swaps, FX and Money Market instruments executed on BARX, Charms, Sophis, Atlas, Summit, TCW and other Front office risk systems. To ensure that cash flows are correctly generated, settled and reconciled across various businesses with minimal impact to the business
• Agreeing and processing high value settlements daily within currency cut off
times
• Completing Post Settlement reconciliations within various Intellimatch
environments.
• Supporting Risk & Control and Regulatory business requirements
• Managing breaks, exception management and reporting activity
• Supporting and delivering the Change & Lean efficiencies for the business
• Investigation of trade settlements breaks and resolving queries within agreed
timeframes
• Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and provide effective
tactical and strategic solutions
• Active engagement with key stakeholders in Sales, Trading, Trade Capture,
Middle Office, Legal and Reference Data
• Excellent Communication Skills – ability to communicate effectively with all
internal/external stakeholders
• Ability to learn quick, work under pressure and operate independently
• Ability to identify, escalate and report risks and issues
• Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and provide effective
tactical and strategic solutions
• Settlements experience
• Financial Services experience
• FX or Derivative product experience (OTC or Bilateral)
