Teaching Assistants in North Finchley N12

North Finchley Tutors is recruiting students, professionals, new or former educators in the UK who are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge. Teaching assistants are responsible for assisting one-on-one or small group lessons that cater to the needs and goals of their students. They will be required to help teachers within the maths and english department.   In your cover letter, can you please add your postcode, whether you would like to help with English or Maths and your qualifications. 2 - 8 hours per week
Between £6.00 and £11.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Responsibilties include :

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
  • Revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
  • Motivating and encouraging pupils. 
  • Making sure classrooms are safe and tidy.

 

The lessons will be from 5pm-7pm on Wednesdays and 10am - 2pm on Saturdays. We are looking for staff who can work both the days or individual days.
