As a Support worker, and care assistant you will be working with individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Challenging Behaviour individuals, elderly etc to ensure that these service users are supported to maintain their independence and dignity whilst living in their own homes, their local community or care environment. Your day will include helping with all aspects of care such as Personal care and other aspects, whether that is supporting with washing and dressing, domestic activities, escorting them to the shops, or making snacks and supporting them with their medication.
