There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust! Major redevelopment works are due for completion by 2025 or soon after. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

There are also plans for a digital transformation, new models of care and a multi-storey car park. We have a 7 month fixed term/secondment opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant. Your expertise and commitment to #teamwestHerts is needed for our COVID Hub and support services. See attached Job Description for details of the role.

The service is open 7 days a week and based across Watford General and St Albans City Hospitals.

Those applying for secondments must have permission from their current line manager to be released for a secondment at the earliest opportunity. Where secondments are approved staff should be aware that they may not be able to return to their substantive position at the end of the secondment but will be slotted into a suitable alternative role.
