  • Are you passionate about providing the best patient centred care?

If so, then this could be the job for you!

Here at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive and friendly Elderly Care Therapy Team.

As a Therapy Team, we are committed to helping our patients to achieve the highest level of independence that they can, and this role involves supporting patients and therapists to deliver rehabilitation activities and exercise.

As an organisation we will support the successful candidate in developing their knowledge and skills, in order to be able to provide timely and effective patient treatment.

You will be provided with training within the clinical environment, and we have a robust support network of enthusiastic staff that can help you to achieve your learning goals.

Interested candidates should have experience of working in a team environment, an interest in supporting patients and an understanding of the needs of both service and patients within a ward environment.

We would strongly encourage anyone interested in this exciting opportunity to contact us to find out more about the role.

It's not just the area that's a great draw. In addition, as a member of our team you’ll have access to one of the most generous and comprehensive pension schemes in the UK, a minimum of 27 days annual leave (on top of Bank Holidays) and an award-winning package of staff benefits (see link on the right).
