We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at Hamilton Vets4Pets. You would be joining our excellent team of 5 vets, 4 experienced RVNs, 1 SVN and 4 Client Care Advisors. You’ll become part of a surgery dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to clients and their pets. Our partner, Julie McGarry, is 17 years qualified from Glasgow, and encourages her team with funded CPD and support.

Person Specification

This is a full or part time role, 30 - 40 hours per week, which will include weekends on a rota basis, where you will be working sole charge alongside a vet. You would normally only be required to work one day of the weekend with more weekend work available if preferred. There will be no on call or out of hours.

Your role will involve a good mix of nurse consults with patient care and monitoring. You will need to be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role. We are a nurse training practice and looking for someone keen to share their skills with our students. 

Our well-equipped practice is situated in the conveniently located town of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, close to Glasgow and with easy access from M74 motorway. Our modern, spacious surgery is built to industry leading standards, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound and in house laboratory facilities.
