Festival Logistics Crew

35 - 40 hours per week
£10.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Who are we?

We are Woodville Project, a boutique camping company specializing in outdoor canvas accommodation services for events. We offer a variety of tent structures that exemplify our core company value; ‘where comfort and style meet affordability’. We have been operating in the outdoor events industry for 7 years, providing our clients with boutique accommodation for a variety of events, festivals, weddings, parties, stay-cations and more!

What will you be doing?

 

You will be working as a Woodville Project crew member, helping to build canvas tent accommodation for events. You will be setting up and dressing tent structures ready for use and help to maintain them throughout the event until it is time to pack up and move on to the next!

Training provided before events.

You will be working with the Build Supervisors/Crew Managers and Reception managers to assist with the following processes:-

Prior to an event

 

  1. You will be unloading vehicles and storing stock

 

  1. You will be plotting, erecting, furnishing and dressing structures along with making beds and clearing the site.

 

During an event

 

  1. You will assist with customer check-ins and porter service.

 

  1. You will complete daily tasks involving maintenance, stock organisation, troubleshooting and fixing any problems with the structures.

 

Post an event

  1. You will assist with the stages of breakdown. This involves stripping bedding, removing furnishings, disassembling structures, organising and packing all items ready for loading vehicles for removal off-site.

 

  1. You will help to ensure that the site is left clean and clear

Who are we looking for?

 

Someone who has a passion for the outdoors, hardworking, capable of doing physical heavy work, pays attention to detail, has good customer skills and is willing to do what it takes to make sure every customer has a great event experience.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Able to carry out physically demanding work and carry heavy items
  • Able to use your initiative to solve problems
  • Good attention to detail with a high standard of work
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to work
  • Good customer service skills – approachable, good listener, patient and polite

Desirable (not essential):

  • UK driving license
  • Straight Mast or Telehandler experience
  • Building or site experience
