Freelance Content Writer (Flexible, Work From Home!) in London
A part-time role that is fully remote and can be done in your own time. We will share our content needs and timelines on a project-by-project basis and agree on a fee for your time and input in telling our brand's story. Do you have experience in writing content for blogs, social media, and product pages that are optimized for SEO?
If this sounds like you, then hello! We're AHLT and we're looking for a freelance writer to help us create high-quality content for use across our all of digital platforms on a project by project basis. We're a growing home fragrance and interiors business and we're looking to level up our content to support our ambitious growth plans for the year ahead.
What we're offering: A part-time role that is fully remote and can be done in your own time. We will work in partnership with you to create content that fits the brief with room for you to demonstrate your creative flair.
What we're looking for: A self-starter who is willing to work to a brief and timelines but inject their own ideas and passion into the content. Previous experience using Shopify is preferred but not essential.

AHLT - A HOUSE LIKE THIS is a home fragrance and accessories brand based in South East London founded by James Burrow and Ky Ismet.
When James and Ky purchased their first property in South London they knew they would be taking on a big renovation project - but that had been the goal since they met in 2010. Sharing a love for monochrome style, graphic prints, dark interiors and an unhealthy obsession with home fragrance the boys documented each step of their house project via their ahouselikethis Instagram. Once the dust settled (quite literally) on their home project they decided to launch their business venture, specializing in handmade luxuries for the home.
Since then the business has continued to thrive with a number of stockists taking on the range globally and with notable features in print across the likes of Sheerluxe, The Metro, and British Vogue to name a few.
This is an exciting time to be part of the growth of business in its very early stages on a part-time basis.

What we ask
- Clear communication and willingness to work to brief under tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote capacity
- Have evidence of producing blog or creative content relevant to the role
- Previous writing experience in a must and you will need to share samples of your work, ideally in a blog content format
- You should be registered as a university student
