Job Title: Health and Social Care Internal Verifier / IQA

Location: Remote - Must be flexible with travel for team meetings when restrictions ease

Salary: £20.60 per hour

Type: Freelance ongoing (initially 6 - 10 hours per week, then hours will increase to more full time in the near future)

KM Recruitment are pleased to be currently recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Internal Verifier / IQA on a freelance basis.

Duties:

  • Internal Verification of qualifications in Health and Social Care.
  • Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
  • Provide support and carry out observations to ensure an outstanding level of assessment, teaching and learning is achieved.
  • Drive and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Conduct regular standardisation meetings.
  • Arrange External Verifier visits and ensure portfolios of evidence, candidate records and internal verifier records are available for each visit.
  • Provide ongoing support with the curriculum development of the qualifications.
  • Assist in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits.
  • Ability to write reports and maintain records using information systems.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold a recognised Internal Verifier award (D34 / V1/ IQA).
  • Must have experience of verifying Health and Social Care qualifications.
  • Must hold occupational competency within Health and Social Care at Senior Carer level or above.
  • Hold a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience of coaching and developing assessors.
  • Must be flexible with travel for staff meetings.
