Duration - Part Time, Permanent (22.5 hours per week)

Salary - £13.80 per hour

Connect2Staff are currently working with a well-established business in the Chatham area. Together, we are seeking a HR assistant to take on a part time, permanent position.

You will be assisting the HR Manager, HR Business partners and the Lead practitioners. You will ensure that all day-to-day tasks are managed effectively and meet expectations of their internal and external customers.

We are looking for someone with good IT skills and knowledge of the MS office, especially Excel in particular. You will have experience working within a HR role an administrating an HR database.

Key Job Duties

  • Proactively keeping systems, processes, records, and files up to date and in a good working order. Including personal files, HR database, L&D records, DBS checks and performance management documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service and dealing with day-to-day enquiries
  • Assisting in providing an excellent HR service
  • Basic Administration tasks

What you will need

  • IT skills/knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
  • A can-do attitude and ability to take ownership for getting things done correctly first time and in line with the required timelines
  • Good attention to detail, an excellent note taker and able to effectively prioritise workload
  • Open to new ways of working and keen to learn
  • Experience within an HR role
