Work From Home - Remote Assistant Learning Coach

What are you going to do:

100% remote and 100% work from home role.

This is the perfect role for a student or aspiring teacher and although previous experience working with children is preferred, teaching experience is not essential. This is a support role and you will be working alongside a full time coach.

We are Neobael, a Singaporean online edtech platform who strongly believe that access to good quality education shouldn’t be exclusive. Neobael is eager to onboard a part time candidate who is available to work between 3-6 hours a week in a fully remote role. Our ideal candidate for this role will be prepared to:

• Engage with learners and coaches to create a fun, positive learning environment online.
• Study pre-prepared lesson plans in advance of all sessions, ensuring familiarity with content (all primary years level).
• Coordinate in advance with an allocated Learning Coach before each lesson to confirm logistics.
• Guide learners with any questions or queries that they may have relating to lessons during the live sessions.
• Oversee student progress during the lesson, particularly during independent work.
• Ensure the online learning environment is vibrant yet safe and respectful.
• Document student progress and assist allocated Learning Coach in preparing feedback for parents.
• Advocate the use of the platform’s policies and procedures around digital citizenship, online child safeguarding, cyberbullying and other related policies.
• Be available to work at least 2 days a week for 1.5 hours a day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. 
• Experience as an educator or similar role such as tuition or sports coach is preferred
• Strong interest and inclination towards technology. 
• Comfortable using G Suite for Education.
• Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Adherence to the highest level of professionalism by demonstrating honesty, integrity, and maturity.
• No work permit required as you can work remotely. 

General Requirements:

• A police clearance certificate from your current country of residence. 
• A general background check will be conducted for all applicants.
• References will be required.
• Access to a laptop, headphones, stable WiFi and a quiet and private working environment.
