Youth Worker - Wiltshire

Working with Wiltshire Council and funded by the DfE, we will be delivering the Wiltshire FUEL (Food, Unity, Energy, Laughter) Camp over Easter, Summer and Winter school holidays 2023 which is a programme for 4-16 year olds.

20 - 25 hours per week
Between £13.00 and £15.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

LBD deliver the activity provisions with support of specialised food and nutrition suppliers: with all 3 components together the FUEL camp will ensure the young people who attend will eat healthily and be active over the school holidays, be more engaged with local services through a safe, engaging and enriching programme which will help development of the young people as well as extending their knowledge of health and nutrition. 

We are looking for staff who are committed to making the school holidays an enriching experience for these children and are prepared to go the extra mile to achieve this. Our roles are suitable for strong role models and support each child in the camp to reach their full potential whilst working to create a supportive environment for your colleagues and young people. As an employee on the FUEL camp you will be part of a team responsible for running activities and ensuring the wellbeing of a team of approximately 10 young people (aged 4-16).

Role Length 

Easter: Monday 3rd April to Thursday 6th April + training days. Part time hours (actual working hours TBC) 

Summer: 16 days + training days.  Part time hours (actual working hours TBC) 

Winter:   4 days + training days. Part time hours (actual working hours TBC) 

  

Salary 

Camp Coach: £13 per hour 

Assistant Camp Leader: £14 per hour 

Camp Leader: £15 per hour 

SEND Specialist: £15 per hour
