SUMMER CAMP RESIDENTIAL ACTIVITY LEADER in Riccarton

What are you going to do:
Delivering excursions and activities (previously planned by the Centre Managers), for groups of students (14-18 years old) supervised by Italian Group Leaders. This role is for the period between July and mid-August on a full-time basis with agreed time-off.
Every day is different! From taking students on unique excursions into Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and around Loch Lomond, to leading ghost tours in the historic Old Town. From engaging museum visits to enjoying karaoke and disco nights with colourful costumes. There are also opportunities to participate in the many fun local activities and events you will be leading around Scotland.
Essential requirements
• Ability to handle challenging situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
• Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of the students
• A flexible approach to working and hours of work undertaken
• Attend a training weekend (prior to your contract commencing) at the end of June
Desiderable requirements
• Knowledge of the Scottish culture
• Knowledge of the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and their distinctive points of interest

Extra information
Accommodation and meals are included, and there will be no deductions for this from your salary.
You will enjoy the Accademia Britannica Edinburgh centre, working as part of an energetic team where your ideas and creativity will always be welcomed. You'll have the opportunity to learn and experience Italian culture and get to practice the Italian language, if desired.
