per annum We are looking for a motivated pharmacist to provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to our Intensive Care Unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking pharmacist to develop their practice and skills. We can offer: Opportunity to undertake a DPharm or Independent Prescriber qualification. Participation in consultant ward rounds and multidisciplinary teaching sessions. Involvement in teaching undergraduates and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job To provide Lead Clinical Pharmacist services to the Clinical Business Unit in accordance with Pharmacy, Divisional and Trust objectives:

Provide specialist clinical pharmacist support to a designated Speciality and support to other wards and departments as appropriate. Provide pharmaceutical advice and financial information to nursing, medical and administrative staff for the Medical Directorate. Manage and supervise the work of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and technicians working for the Medical Directorate Work with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team in developing and delivering clinical training programmes on medicines in Medicine. Provide professional support for Medicines Information as required Provide professional supervision in the Dispensary as required Person specification

Qualifications -Es

sential criteria

Pharmacy degree (Master/Batchelor) Registration as a Pharmacist with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent experience Some Supervisory experience Prescriber qualification Previous Experience - Essential criteria

Significant specialist medical knowledge acquired through training and experience. Medicines Management experience gained in a Hospital environment across a range of specialities.
