Speech and Language Therapist SEN School April 2024 Start Role: Speech and Language Therapist School: SEN School for ages 14

25 years Location: Southwark Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per year Contract: Full Time, Long Term We are currently seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical in-house team at our specialist school for students aged 14

25 years old. In this role, you will collaborate to deliver tailored assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, contributing to the expansion of our clinical provision by working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working with students with a range of conditions, including Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health Conditions, Stammering, Language Delay, Voice Disorders and problems with palate. Speech and Language Therapist: Speech and Language Therapy Degree Registered with HCPC and RCSLT (Health and Care Professions Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists) Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour) Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities. Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred. Newly qualified candidates will be considered. Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice with full support from our established Clinical Team.
