We are currently seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical in-house team at our specialist school for students aged 14
25 years old. In this role, you will collaborate to deliver tailored assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, contributing to the expansion of our clinical provision by working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary team.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working with students with a range of conditions, including Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health Conditions, Stammering, Language Delay, Voice Disorders and problems with palate.

Essential Criteria
Speech and Language Therapist:
Speech and Language Therapy Degree
Registered with HCPC and RCSLT (Health and Care Professions Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists)
Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting
Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour)
Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred. Newly qualified candidates will be considered.
Ability to work independently
Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car (Desirable)

Speech and Language Therapist
Manage a Speech and Language therapy caseload alongside other SALTs at our School.
Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice with full support from our established Clinical Team.
Take on a challenging and rewarding role, suitable for a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and strong workload management abilities.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
