Front Desk Receptionist Intern

We are currently looking for a front desk receptionist intern in a 5 stars hotel in Lanzarote, Canary island, Spain. This position includes : Accommodation, 300 euros/month, Uniform provided (no shoes provided) and Student assistance. The duration is 3 to 6 months, 6 hours per day.

Job description

For our client, we are currently looking for a front desk receptionist intern in a 5 stars hotel in lanzarote, Canary island, Spain. The Hotel Reception Internship will assist the front office agents at the fine hotel. This can be an amazing job experience for someone who wants to gain hands on experience in the hotel management field and improve their Spanish skills. 

Internship tasks description

Recurrent tasks :

  • Help desk reception support
  • Greeting and welcoming arriving guests as they enter the hotel
  • Customer Service
  • Reservations support
  • Attending call for reservations
  • Checking Tour operators contracts

Student profile

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Therefore, a Training agreement (Stage avec convention de stage) is mandatory. It needs to be signed by the university, the host company and the student.
  • Must have a good command of the English and Spanish Language
  • French and/or German will be definitely a plus
  • An interest in or passion for hotels, hospitality, or travel
  • The candidate likes fast activities and like learning new things all the time
