Job description
As an intern in localization – English you will help us coordinate the localization of our online games and will work with a range of departments and external service providers. In addition you will be tasked with translating a range of texts from German into English.
Your Job:
- Support efforts to localize our innovative casual games
- Work closely with our specialist departments and external service providers
- Translate from German into English and proofread texts
- Create style guides and glossaries
- Carry out linguistic testing on our games
- This 6 month internship is ideal for a co-op course or for recent graduates looking for an exciting start to their career. Combining the position with a university thesis is possible.
- Native-speaker level knowledge of English and excellent German, both written and spoken
- A nearly completed degree in translation studies or modern languages
- Some practical experience in this area or in project management is desirable
- Able to work independently, good communication skills and team spirit
- Enthusiastic about working in interdisciplinary teams and passionate about games
