 Health & Safety Advisor for innovative and fast-paced food manufacturer based in Hampshire. Supporting the HSE Manager ensuring site operations are executed in compliance with HSE regulatory requirements.

 

Reporting to the HSE Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:

·       Providing advice on HSE matters for the business

·       Collaborating with all departments to ensure health and safety compliance during audits and visits

·       Conducting and assisting with accident and near-miss investigations

·       Leading the HSE Committee meetings

·       Delivering training on health and safety policies, processes and responsibilities as required

·       Completing administrative tasks as necessary


Essential / Desirable skills include:

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.

·      Previous experience in a similar role – ideally in the Food Manufacturing industry.

·      Ability to effectively deliver training and presentations

·      A minimum of a NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety is essential

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. The salary is up to c.£35k per annum plus an excellent benefits package.
