GCSE Online Tutor

GCSE Catch Up seeks several experienced and enthusiastic online tutors to join our team. We look for entertaining tutors who also have knowledge in the subject area. Tutors will need to be self-motivated and organised to succeed in this role.

2 - 10 hours per week
Between £20.00 and £30.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

We are looking for tutors in the following GCSE subjects:

  • Maths
  • English
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing lesson plans
  • Delivering engaging lessons
  • Creating subject content
  • Other small tasks when required

Our lessons are not 1-1 private tuition lessons. They are either pre-recorded or live-streamed, so the tutor does not have to directly communicate in a 1-1 environment. Tutors are given work when lessons or other tasks are available. There is no guarantee of hours.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
  • A bachelor's degree or currently studying in relevant education or subject area.
  • Comfortable in front of a camera whilst being recorded. This also includes a recording of the tutor's face.
  • Excellent digital organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills (engaging, entertaining and clear)
