Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a GCSE Maths Tutor to deliver Maths lessons to students in year 10 and 11.

Responsibilities: Tutors are responsible for providing weekly maths lessons to pupils throughout the year.

• Providing small group maths lessons
• Building pupil confidence in Maths
• Helping students prepare for GCSE exams in May 2017
• Monitoring and reporting on each pupils progress
• Giving feedback to parents and centre manager
• Working collaboratively with other tutors

Person requirements
Person specification:

• Have strong subject knowledge in maths
• Enjoy working with students
• Be passionate and committed to helping students to pass their exams
• Have a minimum of an undergraduate degree or be working towards this
• Be numerate and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Be punctual and organised

Additional information: We require tutors that can commit to the full academic year of tuition from September to June.
