Job description

How you can expect to spend your day;

Are you great with people, and love inspiring and influencing others? Are you keen to shape the way in which people are managed and supported at work? Do you also want to work for an organisation that embraces diversity? If so, you should apply for a Lloyds Banking Group HR Internship Programme.

With over 30 million customers and a relationship with almost every household and community in the UK, Lloyds Banking Group makes a difference in the lives of millions of people. Our HR teams help us achieve this by working in partnership with the business, ensuring we have the right people in – or developing towards – the roles they enjoy, and excel at.

Join us on our 10-week paid internship, and you’ll gain valuable insights into our business and our diverse teams, while discovering skills you never knew you had. You’ll learn about everything from managing team changes and facilitating training, to attracting, recruiting, developing and engaging people. And, you’ll see how everything we do aims to support peoples’ development, reward their performance and celebrate their success.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to discover more about what matters to you in your career and the areas you’d like to work in, once you finish university. You’ll start shaping your HR knowledge in an environment that supports your development too; taking part in masterclasses, training and mentoring from experienced business leaders that will inspire you to develop as a person and a professional.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications;

We’re interested in your unique skills and passions: any degree, any university, and all your interests. Whether a keen traveller, gym-junkie, film-buff or party planner – whatever shapes you, will shape us and our future organisation. You will however need to be in your penultimate year of study, and on track to receive a 2:2 degree or above.

What are the perks of interning at this company?

You’ll be joining an organisation that offers flexible working and a huge range of benefits, so you can build a reward package that best suits you – including private medical benefits and discounted financial products. And, if you impress us, you could be offered a place on our Graduate Leadership Programme.
