Practice Manager at Wellbeing Centre, Mayfair

Ensures the Wellbeing practice remains financially sustainable while delivering excellent customer service. Acts as the key communicator between all sectors of the Centre. Makes key business decisions and oversees day-to-day practice operations. Works to expand the practice. Responsible in certifying financials of the business & managing & training reception team.

Job description

  • Practice Manager Job Duties:
  • Works with therapists and reception team to develop patient services
  • Designs and implements workplace procedures
  • Liaises with general practitioners to ensure they have necessary reception support
  • Manages practice and every day running of operations
  • Meet and greets clients
  • Carrying out reception duties
  • Records and forecasts business income
  • Prepares invoices and statements
  • Oversees daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collections, cleaning, security, and safety
  • Trains and leads a reception team and handles rota
  • Manages patient records and IT system
  • Ensures online booking system is updated and reflects availability

  • Evaluates appointment procedures and patient services
  • Recruits, trains, and supervises new receptionists
  • Recruits new therapists
  • Creates new contracts and renew existing contracts
  • Interacts with patients and gains customer feedback about the practice
  • Addresses patient enquiries and complaints in a compassionate and timely fashion
  • Monitors practice's progress
  • Updates, edits and manages website using Word Press
  • Practice Manager Skills and Qualifications:People Person, Previous Experience Within a Wellbeing/Health Environment, Quick Learner, Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills, Competent, Problem Solving Skills, Welcoming, Organisational Skills, Confidential, Management Skills and Experience, Leadership Skills, Computer Literacy and Knowledge of Relevant Software, Accounting Skills, Ability to Work as a Leader and Part of a Team, Analytical Skills, Health and Safety Knowledge.
